The infrastructure behind every Torvo document.
Torvo is an ambient intelligence platform with a single architectural commitment: a human reviews every document. Niro observes, drafts, and surfaces patterns. People decide.
Niro keeps people in authority.
Niro is Torvo's advisory AI layer. It processes meaning, drafts structured content, highlights gaps, and asks for confirmation. The named professional reviews, edits, and remains responsible for the final document.
This is the operating principle across every regulated sector Torvo touches: the system assists, the professional decides, and the organisation controls how outputs are approved and used.
Built like infrastructure, not a SaaS app.
Structured, auditable, and review-first: the bits regulated teams usually need to evidence.
EU-hosted core platform
Hetzner, Germany. Hardened SSH key-only access, fail2ban, UFW, unattended security upgrades. Sub-processor and transfer terms are confirmed per deployment.
Role-based access
Organisation-scoped access controls. Database queries are scoped by organisation, and deployment reviews test for cross-organisation access risks.
Append-only audit records
Append-only audit records with verification hashes. Observations, replies, approvals, and exports are timestamped for review.
Repeatable checks
Structured checks are designed to be repeatable for the same saved input, avoiding silent changes after approval.
Professional PDF output
Branded, watermarked PDFs with version history, signatory blocks, page-numbered footers, and session references for verification.
Field-tolerant capture
Records on phone hardware, queues uploads, survives signal drops. Capture in the field, document at the desk - or both at once.
Designed for UK GDPR workflows.
Encrypted at rest and in transit. Access and erasure workflows are supported through the platform where configured. Customer deployments use a data map, DPA, and DPIA review before regulated operational pilots involving special category or law-enforcement data.
2 UK patent applications filed.
GB2606619.1 (universal AI documentation platform, priority 25 March 2026) and GB2607509.3 (vertical-specific applications, priority 31 March 2026). International filing strategy is being prepared.
